Over the river and through the woods to get to grandmother’s house was the route we did take to get to our grandmother’s house.  I have fond memories of grandmother’s home.  Yes, we honestly did call her grandmother.  My grandmother was old fashioned.  And going to her home felt like living in another era.  Where Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer were my friends, and we were running barefoot through the grass.

What I didn’t realize growing up, is that those memories of wandering the creek bed during summer and climbing trees during hide-and-seek, would inspire my adult path.  As I grew up, I had to turn to the vital question of “what do I do with the rest of my life?”  I knew I was not mean to be wearing a suit and tie, hunched over a desk, filling out a million forms for the rest of my working years.  No, what I wanted was to be outdoors, being inspired by nature and creating landscapes that would remind others of just how awe-inspiring our natural world can be.

I did what any other 18 year old does when they find themselves ready to embark on being an “adult.”  I went to community college, and I learned enough to make myself sound educated enough to pass for responsible.  Then I took a risk and jumped into being a business owner with my eyes open and my fingers crossed.

That was 16 years ago.  I experienced success, but I experienced many more failures.  However, I found an area where my vision works.  That concept is Land and Stream properties.  My team of experts and I are here to consult with you on making your landscaping ideas come to life.

But just what can Land and Stream do for you?  We can help your garden grow.  Re-seed your lawn, so it’s green and not patchy.  We also work with trees and water.  Perhaps you want a water feature in your yard.  We can design, install and maintain your feature so it brings joy to you and your neighborhood.

Perhaps you dig living out in the country?  No matter.  We have that covered too.  We trim overgrowth and help you identify those evasive species of plants that keep trying to take over your backyard.  We even know a thing or two about keeping deer from eating all your carrots.

We gladly accept challenges and your creative ideas.  Making dreams become a reality is where we thrive.  Consultations are free, and if you don’t like what we have to offer, we work hard to create camaraderie in the landscaping community.  We would be more than happy to refer you to a company that is better suited for your needs.

From my heart to your home, I sincerely look forward to working with you and creating the memories that will inspire your growth.
